hey it's gum, or rather a pseudonym i picked up two years ago and hope to keep for a while.

i write about llms, math, kernels, algorithms, cp, philosophy, and various other topics i feel like writing abt.

i'm mo gold, codeforces grandmaster within a year and #2 in germany, currently #1 on cryptohack in germany and back-to-back state robotics champ. during the pandemic i got weirdly addicted to ultrabullet and somehow peaked #3 in the world.

mostly learned math and other topics in an autodidactic chaotic way that happened to suit me quite well. i am and have been a member of technical staff at multiple companies, among some other credentials that don't really matter in today's age. this blog is my attempt at turning a large pile of notes into actual posts before i endlessly edit them into oblivion.
